Pick #1

Mink Inflatable Baby Bathtub

This is a must for pool owners with little babies! Unless there's an adult actually in the pool, my baby is definitely staying out too — no matter how supportive her tube is. I realized it was unrealistic to supervise my bigger kids without another adult around while needing to tend to the baby. Well, here's a way for your baby to chill safely poolside in style! Although intended for a traditional baby bath, I pour in a bucket or two of pool water and let my baby relax while staying cool.

Favorite feature: It has a built-in hand pump! Recommended for babies 6 months and up. Although it floats, this is only intended for use outside the pool.

Pick #2

Speedo Sunny G Kids' Swim Goggles

Most people will tell you Speedo ranks best, and I'm in complete agreement. But when browsing Amazon the options are confusingly endless — so I've narrowed it down for you. These Sunny-G goggles don't compromise on iconic Speedo quality, providing comfort and a perfect fit.

Favorite feature: The bungee cord. Not only does it adjust super easily, but believe it or not — it won't snap. Like ever! (I'm sure you've all experienced the frustration of trashing a pair of pricey new goggles.) These also slide over the head without pulling and tangling with chlorine-soaked hair. Mom of four girls talking! And yes — they're extra adorable looking.

Pick #3

Cascade Mountain Tech Vinyl Pool Noodles

This is the upgrade to your classic pool noodle — built to last from season to season! These noodles are completely coated in vinyl making them far more durable (and less chewable!). Unlike the original noodle, these have no holes running through them which makes for better flotation. The only thing you may miss is that surprise squirt-in-the-face from your friend blowing into one end!

Sold by numerous brands everywhere, but Costco's price and return policy remain unbeatable. Purchase individually in-store, or as a 4-pack online.

Pick #4

Translucent Dive Toys (Sun Squad)

These translucent disks are a super fun twist on the typical diving toy! The different blue shades, along with their transparency, help them blend with most pool liners making for a more challenging hunt. The disks are numbered to add a points system — with the more difficult-to-find colors scoring higher. Team up the kids, toss some into the pool, and see who wins!

Pick #5

GoSports Splash Hoop Pool Basketball Game

I know this is an oldie, but it'll always be a favorite among the boys. This gets all ages involved — little ones and men alike! Its sleek yet durable design makes it more appealing than other models, and the weighted base keeps it firmly in place with even the roughest play.

It comes with a little indentation on the back to store your ball, and also includes a spare in case your extra wild nephew tosses one over to the neighbor! Available and top-rated on Amazon in multiple colors and styles.

Pick #6 · Bonus Hack

UUJOLY Shower Caddy — The Pool Organizer Hack

A special shoutout to my sister-in-law for this genius hack! I load this caddy up with sunscreen, mosquito repellent, goggles, dive toys, and anything else we need — and just bring it out to the pool when it's time to swim. This keeps everything in one place while remaining organized, accessible, and easily portable to and from the pool area.

There are endless options for this purpose, but I chose this one because I liked the style and it looks the least like a classic shower caddy.
